How the Online BigCommerce Scraper Works
- Paste the store URL. Any page of the store works — home page, category or product.
- We find the products. Every BigCommerce store has a built-in XML sitemap with a separate list of products. The scraper reads it and checks product pages first.
- We read each product. BigCommerce Stencil themes publish product data as schema.org markup. We read it together with Open Graph tags and the page itself.
- Download the file. The preview shows the first products; all formats come from one export.
The tool checks about 6 products per second, so 1,000 products are ready in about 3 minutes.
